Critiques Hotel Glo****

28-5-2011 3 dagen daar geweest voor een Europese top, goede ligging vlakbij het water en vlak naast het historisch centrum van Helsinki.

17-7-2010 Het GLO Hotel in Helsinki zit in het centrum en heeft een chique uitstraling. Mooi en strak maar met allure. Het restaurant van het hotel: "Calitos" heeft fantastische pizza's. Tegen een goede prijs. De kamers zijn heel erg mooi, comfortabel en prakisch. Prettig om in te verblijven. Voor een stedentrip in Helsinki is het GLO hotel een absolute aanrader!!

25-2-2010 Dit is zo’n hotel waar alles klopt. Perfecte ligging, vriendelijk en efficiënt personeel, hippe lobby met bar, goed ontbijt, en zeer fraaie desginkamers die nu eens een keertje niet zo voorspelbaar zijn ingedeeld. Compleet met allelei luxe frutsels. De kamer is al een vakantie waard. Zeker wanneer de portomonnee de toeslag voor een deluxe kamer aankan. Dan krijg je een extra ruime kamer waar al die pracht nog beter tot uiting komt. Bijkomend voordeel is dat je voor die meerprijs dan tevens toegang krijgt tot de spa en sauna van het naastliggende Kämp Hotel (het deftigste hotel in Helsinki). Die zijn binnendoor vanuit Glo bereikbaar.
Het is moeilijk een kwaad woord over dit hotel te spreken.

7-11-2009 Zijn hier 2 dagen geweest, obv. zeer goed review op tripadvisor.com. Klopt helemaal: fantastisch mooie en hippe kamers in typische scandinavisch-coole design.
Verder een goede prijs en perfecte ligging aan de Kluvikatu

25-6-2009 Having decided to upgrade to a luxury room I was not dissappointed with Hotel GLO. The room was a great size and was very well facilitated with every need catered for.

The breakfast included was a buffet suited to all tastes with all items regularly restocked and kept fresh.

Staff were welcoming and attentive.

I would recommend GLO to any visitor to Helsinki

25-6-2009 This hotel is located at the very heart of Helsinki. Hotels are clean, well-designed and modern. Free internet and breakfast included. Access to spa at adjacent 5-star hotel Kaemp is included, but for a fee of $10 EUR which is irritating (you have to go down and pick up key at front desk everytime). Also, the spa is not up to 5-star standards with "out of order" signs hanging around and dirty floors in the hamam. Breakfast selection was ok, but nothing special. Beds & pillows rather uncomfortable. Staff & service professional and attentive.
Overall, though, my experience was a positive one and I would certainly recommend the hotel to others provided it stays at price levels of EUR 100-130 per room. Not worth more.

29-8-2008 Zeer mooi hotel met alle faciliteiten die je je wensen kunt.

Super centrale ligging, vanuit het hotel sta je in 10 passen bij het beroemde Fazer cafe en zit je dichtbij de hoofdstraten van Helsinki.

Bij Hotel Glo kun je gratis fietsen lenen (reserveren bij receptie), wat echt leuk is om de wandelroutes uit de reisboekjes mee te doen.

Als ik nog eens terug ga naar Helsinki, zal ik zeker weer dit hotel boeken. Boek wel op tijd, het hotel is erg populair.

25-6-2009 This is my third stay at the GLO and I would highly recommend the hotel. It is very centrally located, close to the Helsinki harbor and many other attractions. Décor is modern, rooms very clean with all the amenities. The staff was very helpful and fluent in English. The highlight is the beds. It is the most comfortable bed we have slept on, so much we contacted the manufacturer about purchasing one. Cost is higher than average, but worth the price in my opinion. The breakfast is included and is also fabulous. I give it 4 1/2 stars.

25-6-2009 Nice rooms with interesting interior. Amicable multylanguage speaking personnel. And it is really the center of the city.
